WinMate is a static website. It has no user accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising.

What is stored

The app selection, the chosen package manager and the theme setting are stored in the browser's localStorage so they are still available on the next visit. This data never leaves the device and can be removed at any time by clearing the site data in the browser.

Generated scripts

Install scripts are generated entirely in the browser. Nothing about the selection is sent to a server. A script contacts only the chosen package manager (winget, Scoop or Chocolatey) and the download servers of the software vendors.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
